IYFG Nominations
Hey Reader,

Yes, it is that time again. Nominations for 3rd Quarter have begun. Frankly, I'm not as enthused about the whole process as I have been in quarters past, but I am thrilled to be recognized by those who have taken the time to nominate me. The honor they placed on my work is more important to me than how the Guild itself sees my work. Anyways, I'd like to thank doggieearlover and inuhanyounikkie for nominating Journey to the City of Endless Night for Best Serial and Best Crossover. It means a lot to me. I know, I said I didn't want to be nominated for Best Crossover, but you know, I can't refuse Nikkie!

I also have Child of the Moon eliglible for this quarter. Feel free to nominate it for anything you choose. I'd be thrilled to see anyone think my work is worthy for recognition.

Anyways, I'll be interested in seeing how this quarter turns out. Thanks for the nominations!!

Until next time,

... you didn't want it nominated for crossover? .. sorry.. I can change if you wish..

In the past, since I won Best 2005 in the category, I have said not to, but I won't tell you to take it back! I'm glad you think it's worthy for it! And frankly, I'll be a little surprised if the QC doesn't flag it for something as with just about all the stories nominated. I'll be surprised to see if most of the noms even make it past their little Quality thing, no matter what they say about it.

Sad but true! I'll keep it as is right now... I hope they aren't Anal-retentive.. Here's hoping!

I'm hoping that they will be true to their word and NOT DQ everything simply because they don't like a little grammar thing here and there.

Nods head.. agreement.. But how can we take their word (those who have proven bad manners)? I will be sorrily disappointed in them..

We can only hope, but it doesn't look good now that they dropped a nomination already. . .

Thanks for the reminder for "Child of the Moon"! I only sent a few through last night just to test the waters. I still have about a dozen categories left I can nominate in, if I choose to.

I haven't really even thought of nominating anything this term. I just don't care and I just don't see them letting most of them stand without a flurry of DQs. No matter what they say, I have a funny feeling that's what will hapen.
