Hey Reader,

I know you all have been wondering if I fell of the face of the planet, but I haven't! I promise! I have been busy with the job hunt, had a couple interviews as of late. I have also been working on the chapter. It has been slow going, mainly due to a bit of research here and there, but it is starting to work a little with me. I'm hoping that if I chisel away at it I'll have it finished sooner.

You can also blame the fact that I've been watching a lot of anime on YouTube. Thanks Mirumoto! You have gotten me addicted to Ah! My Goddess! It's such a funny show and I keep downloading the episodes. On top of it, I want to OWN the DVDs the more I watch it. Something about the tiny screen on the computer. . .Anyways thanks. . .you're the reason this chapter is coming along so S-L-O-W-L-Y. Just kidding. I should have the willpower not to compulsively watch it.

I've also been distracted by baseball season. My Minnesota Twins have been sweeping teams left and right lately and I've been watching the games. It's exciting to watch and considering the pitching staff of Johan Santana and Franciso Liriano I can't help but watch!

Anyways, I AM working on the chapter. It's being a bear about being written, but I will make it work or I'll just have to kill off all the characters and be done with it. There are days, let me tell you! I also have had so many ideas fluttering around in my head for future plots that it just sometimes distracts just as much as the other things I'm watching, etc. I promise to have it posted as soon as I can get it written and finished. I know you guys are getting impatient!

Until next time,

So its MY fault, huh?! LOL! I'm glad you're enjoying them. "Ah! My Goddess" is a really good series, and gets deeper into the charachters as it goes on. You're right, watching it on the computer is not as good as on a TV.
I'm familiar with most of your anime choices, but I had never seen Samurai7 before. By chance, I found a listing in the cable guide and I watched an episode. Its cool! I'll have to see if I can start from the beginning, since I'm not sure why the samurai seem to have interesting technology/magic and their fighting against large mecha.
Don't worry overly much about the story, it'll come. Eventually the charachters settle down and take their places. Sometimes it helps to bribe them, though! They really like the boxed lunches that Kagome's mother sends sometimes. They drop everything to snack on those! Even Sesho might like some of the sushi or pickled radishes.
Good luck on the job search! And as usual, we'll be waiting, and ready if you need us.

Hey Mirumoto,

Yes, yes it is. If it hadn't been for you mentioning Ah! My Goddess I'd probably be a lot further along on the chapter! It's quite alright. The show is too much fun to pass up anyways. I just really feel bad for Keiichi. Oh sure, he's dating a Goddess and everything, but look at all the trouble he's had to put up with! She shows up and the first thing that happens is he gets kicked out of his home! Poor thing.

Samurai 7 sat on the shelf at my local WalMart and my beta reader and I finally decided to break down and buy the first volume one day just to see what the hell it was about. Then we wanted to see the whole series. It's impressively done if you ask me and I find it's twist of the samurai traditions with a futuristic setting to be rather unique. I certainly do recommend it.

I don't know if Sesshomaru would partake in the boxed lunches or not. He's such a picky eater. I'd think the only person who could convince him to eat them would have to be Rin. He's not the problem this chapter, anyways. He's behaving quite well. It's other characters I'm ready to kill. If I could just wake my brain up a bit more, I'd have more luck getting the story to flow on out. Sigh.

Thanks for the luck. I think I'm gonna need it.
