A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Well, I have done some more writing today and posted two new stories. One is my entry for Week 87: Blind at iyfic_contest, titled "Shippo's Cruel Amusement," and the other is a new one-shot in "The Games We Play" series entitled "Sesshomaru Loses Count."

You can find the new drabble, and all of my drabbles in the collection called "Far Away Eye's Fairytales."

The new one-shot was a request for northstar333. If you would like to have a request in "The Games We Play" fulfilled, visit this post.

I have also posted a new collection earlier this week called "Songs of Faith and Devotion." The first story is "Shake the Disease." It is centered around Sesshomaru and Rin. You can find out more about the collection by reading this post.

My next project is to get back into Journey and start that next chapter. I am excited about it because I am starting a new arc in the storyline. It'll be a challenge to get back into it, but I am sure it'll be fun. I am not entirely sure how long it'll take me to get back into the groove or how long it'll take to get it written and posted, but the beta has ordered that I get back to work on it! So that's what I'll be doing next. I will, of course, take time to do little drabbles and more "Games" as I see fit when I need that break!

I hope you'll enjoy the new stories I've posted, and as always, feel free to leave feedback. I should get to some review responses for those that have reviewed the two new collections and Journey in a few days.

Until next time,

Far Away Eyes

I look forward to you getting back to Journey, even if I did enjoy the other stories. I just always look forward to what's going to happen next.

And when you feel like reading there is at least one *cough* chapter of Learning To Deal I don't think you've seen yet, if not two. (or maybe it's one and about to be two when I get the chapter I just finished back)

Anyway, look forward to more!

Thanks. I'm glad you liked the new stuff. I'm glad to get back to Journey, too. It'll be interesting to see how the new arc comes together. I just hope it'll go as well as I want.

I do intend on getting caught up on your stuff probably on Sunday, depending on my schedule for next week. If I'm not totally wiped from the next two days, maybe I will get to it sooner. We shall see.

I suppose I should start getting ready for bed (as I do have to get up at 3 AM, instead of going to bed then)and do a few notes perhaps on Journey to wind down.

3 AM will come early - bleh! I hope work goes well and is uneventful.

It's mostly working the stuff from the truck to the floor. Shift starts at 4 AM. Noon will not come fast enough..seriously. Then Saturday I work sales floor from 8 AM until 2 PM. I am about ready to hit the hay. Getting Songs off the ground really wore me out, and finishing up the new Sess/Rin PWP request took what was left, lmao. Yeah, I had FUN doing that story!

I'm not sure my drabble is all that good for Week 87, but I wanted to address Kagome's blindness to Shippo and that's what came to mind. Someone oughta catch that brat at his own game.

I'm with you. I'll have to find that one and read it. I'm always getting accused of hating Shippou because I write him the way I see he acts.

Well the theme was blind, and I couldn't think of much else to fit that. I've wanted Shippo to get caught in the act for awhile, too. And all Inuyasha had been doing was trying to take a nap in this one. I bet Shippo jumped on him or threw fox fire or something to make him mad enough to chase him---all cause he wanted a good laugh. I saw your review at MM.org. Thanks!

Certainly. I had found them at various places without them and wasn't sure who to credit. I am now! Thanks!

No problem. The ones I hadn't credited were posted some place else, but I can't really recall where. They didn't have credits, so I wasn't sure who to thank.

Yeah, it could be a compliment, I suppose. Who knows.
